My own journey with mental health began when I was a child and I suffered with depression and anxiety throughout my teenage years. I found myself struggling and in need of support, so I reached out to my GP and was lucky enough to receive a variety of therapies that helped me to improve how I felt and coped with my life. Anxiety was still a pretty prevalent part of my life and was the thing I struggled with the most, it affected me in many ways and made navigating my relationships very difficult. I understand just how much space having a poor mental well-being can take up. I found that I wanted to make a change to help me improve my own mental health and one that would hopefully lead me to be able to help others too. This is when I decided to enrol onto a course with the CPHT to become a qualified therapist. I feel that it has been a huge privilege to begin a private practice and help people with improving their own lives and resilience. I qualified in 2021 and have helped over a hundred clients since then with issues like anxiety, depression, stress, unwanted habits and unhealthy coping mechanisms (to name just a few!).

I began my therapeutic training with the Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training school in Essex, where I qualified as a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist in 2021. I immediately began practicing and set up a private practice, where I have been able to work with a number of people to improve their well-being. I have a Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (DSFH), as well as a Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma (HPD). These qualifications have allowed me to hold accreditations with the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) and the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). As I am always striving to gain more knowledge and experience, I began training with the National College for Hypnosis and Psychotherapy in 2022 and my future qualifications will be listed once they have been achieved and I am currently practicing as a hypnotherapist with psychotherapeutic training.

I now live and work from my home in Dereham, Norfolk where I have resided since 2022. I live with my three dogs and two cats, and have been very fortunate to have found my purpose – which is to allow my work through Begin Again Therapy to continue to support those in need. I enjoy holding space for my clients and empowering people to find a way to experience life that is positive but rational and most importantly I love helping people understand that it is possible to feel better and more in control. My work and studying has helped me enormously with my own mental health and so now being able to help others is something that I hope to do from now onwards. If you feel like I may be a good fit for you as a therapist, then please reach out through the enquiry form or by email.

I look forward to hearing from you.
